Ordering

Placing an order is easy! Simply visit our Menu page, browse our fresh selections, and tap "Add to Cart" on any item you'd like. Once you're ready, head to your cart and follow the checkout steps.

You'll receive a confirmation once your order is received. If you have any special requests or dietary needs, use the notes field at checkout — we'll do our best to accommodate you.

You may modify or cancel your order within 15 minutes of placing it, as long as food preparation hasn't started. To make changes, please contact us immediately via phone at +1 801-889-1654 or email at [email protected].

Once an order is being prepared, we're unable to make changes. We appreciate your understanding!

We accept the following payment methods:

  • All major credit & debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover)
  • Apple Pay & Google Pay
  • Cash on pickup / delivery
  • Cafe Rio gift cards

All online transactions are processed securely. We do not store card details on our servers.

For in-store pickup, there is no minimum order. For delivery orders, we require a minimum subtotal of $15 before fees. This helps us ensure your order arrives fresh and promptly.

Menu & Food

Absolutely! We have an entire section of our menu dedicated to plant-based eaters. Our vegetarian and vegan dishes are crafted with the same bold flavors as the rest of our menu. Look for the 🌿 V badge on menu items.

Yes — freshness is at the heart of everything we do at Cafe Rio. We source our produce daily from local Utah suppliers whenever in season. Our proteins are marinated fresh each morning, and we never use frozen pre-packaged shortcuts.

We partner with farms in the Salt Lake Valley to bring you the best seasonal ingredients available.

We take food allergies very seriously. Our kitchen handles common allergens including gluten, dairy, tree nuts, and soy. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment due to shared equipment.

Yes! In addition to our core menu, we feature seasonal specials that rotate every few months based on fresh ingredient availability and inspiration from our kitchen team. These limited items are a fan favorite — follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the know.

Delivery

We currently deliver to addresses within a 10-mile radius of our Salt Lake City location at 1235 E 2100 S. This covers most of Salt Lake City, Millcreek, South Salt Lake, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Enter your address at checkout to confirm availability. If your area isn't covered yet, pickup is always available — or contact us to discuss options for your location.

Standard delivery typically takes 30–50 minutes from when your order is confirmed. During peak hours (lunch 11am–1pm, dinner 6pm–8pm), delivery may take up to 60 minutes.

You'll receive a notification when your order leaves our kitchen. If you experience any delays, please call us at +1 801-889-1654.

Our delivery fee is $3.99 for orders within 5 miles and $5.99 for orders between 5–10 miles. The fee is calculated automatically at checkout based on your address.

Orders over $50 qualify for free delivery within our delivery zone. In-store pickup is always free!

Catering & Events

Yes! Cafe Rio provides full-service catering for all types of events — corporate lunches, office meetings, private parties, birthdays, weddings, and community gatherings. We serve groups from 10 to 500+ guests.

Our catering packages include setup, serving trays, utensils, and custom menu planning. Contact us at least 48 hours in advance to book.

We recommend booking catering orders at least 48–72 hours in advance. For larger events of 100+ guests or those requiring special menu customization, we suggest booking 1–2 weeks ahead to ensure availability and proper preparation.

Last-minute orders may be accommodated depending on kitchen capacity — please call us directly for urgent catering requests at +1 801-889-1654.

We're open for dine-in, pickup, and delivery during these hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Saturday – Sunday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
